Housing Assistance

Working with families to prevent homelessness and stabilize housing. Housing navigation is available to help secure affordable housing and, if eligible, to provide assistance for security deposits, rental assistance or rental arrearage.

VCAP Reach

  • CVOEO opened a Community Resource Center and is operating an Outreach Team for those experiencing homelessness
  • VCAP agencies provided direct service to the homeless in hotel settings
  • 1,584 homeless were helped to find permanent housing during the pandemic

VCAP Annual Impact

  • 743 Vermonters experiencing homelessness found temporary housing
  • 1,584 Vermonters obtained safe, affordable and permanent housing
  • 599 received security deposits
  • 671 received rental assistance
