Seven Days

Join us for this FREE event (donations welcome)!

Stories of Home is sponsored by Main Street Landing and presented in partnership with All Heart Inspirations. Ferene Paris (she/her) is a Black Haitian storyteller, artist, and founder of All Heart Inspirations who creates heart-centered spaces through courageous truth-telling, live storytelling, and community engagement rooted in culture, connection, and love. Ferene will work alongside the selected storytellers to help them shape and share their stories.

Sign up to be one of the featured storytellers here: https://forms.office.com/r/4Y46003EDC

The storyteller sign-up deadline is March 19. Selected storytellers will be notified March 20 and invited to attend a group workshop scheduled for Sunday March 22. Selected storytellers will also receive free one-on-one coaching with Ferene and a $200 stipend.

You don’t need to have a fully formed story – just the idea and the interest in learning how to share.

About Fair Housing Month: Each April we celebrate the 1968 passage of the Fair Housing Act with a series of public education and art events to raise awareness about housing discrimination in Vermont and the positive role that inclusive, affordable housing plays in thriving communities.

This year’s theme is Fair Housing: No Matter What! to emphasize the endurance of state and federal anti-discrimination laws and reinforce our duty to take meaningful actions to overcome the legacy of segregation, unequal treatment, and historic lack of access to opportunity in housing.
